So I bought the Aloe Blacc album before the Bilal album.
Made the executive decision that it would be easier to get into at my desk than any of Bilal’s soundscapes.
Possibly swayed by some of the words above. But either way, the decision proved to be the right one -
simple. cohesive. feel better soul music.
deserving of all the praise thats sure to come his way. .
starting with London Jazz Cafe on the 19th of next month.

I’ll have to be honest – I love Hip-Hop.
That said.
There aren’t too many artistes that get the taste buds bubbling, heart palpitating or hairs standing on the back of the neck.
Only to start dancing.
My boy Blu makes my hairs dance. The dude is just too soulful.
I was happy when HerFavouriteColourWasBlu(e) was re-released just because it was so tight and everyone loved it.
And now I’m even happier. New album edges closer and closer – The GODleeBarnesLP.
