An amazing session -
all tracks have ‘that sound‘ tying them together,
yet at the same time there is plenty going on off centre – sounds that can’t always be tied between tracks
the music works on several levels and thus allows the end product to be more than a tour of his exclusives
instead, almost a whole ‘new‘ sound is the result. . . familiar but distant
I won’t stick a name on it…..just yet. But you get what I mean. <—– (genre joke)

I finally got the chance to check out Mos on Deviation. illustrates what can be done with a 3hour show and a little bit more slack on the bbc’s creative reigns.
